Trees of the future

Prunus 'Umineko'
Prunus 'Umineko' is a tree with a narrow columnar shape. Its maximum height is 8m. The habitus is narrow but just wider than Prunus ser. "Amanogawa". The tree has a smooth bark that is a gray-brown color. The oval leaves are dark green in color and turn orange-red to purple in autumn. The leaf margin is sawn roughly. 'Umineko' flowers profusely with single bright white flowers. The blossoms appear evenly with the leaves. Because of its rich flowering and its upright crown shape, this Prunus is the suitable avenue tree. "Umineko" is the cross breed of P. incisa and P. serrulata var. speciosa. Plant it on fertile, well-drained soils. Very hardy and durable.

Acer campestre 'Green Column'
Acer campestre 'Green Column' is a small tree with a narrow form. At a young age it grows very narrow. Later somewhat wider columnar. The upper side branches are longer than the heart branch. Those side branches are at an angle of 30 ° to the base, so that the crown is quite closed. The first few years after transplanting, some pruning is needed here and there to correct the shape. The foliage is significantly larger than other cultivars. This cultivar is free from spider mite, slightly sensitive to gall mite and sensitive to mildew. The field maple prefers a position in full sun or partial shade and thrives in any well-drained soil. It tolerates pruning very well, is very hardy and drought tolerant, tolerates sea wind and air pollution.

Parrotia persica 'Vanessa'
Parrotia persica 'Vanessa' has a straight trunk and an oval crown. This makes it ideal for use as an avenue tree. The bark has a light gray color and flakes off. Young twigs are well supplied with lenticels. The young leaves have a dark color and are irregularly corrugated. The autumn coloring of 'Vanessa' is spectacular, the leaves turn red, yellow and purple. These trees only bloom when they're older. The flowers are about 2 cm in size and are characterized by the red anthers. Roots superficially with a fine root system.
